Join the Section on Medicine and the Arts and the Delaware Valley Medical Student Wellness Collaborative for the 5th Annual College of Philadelphia Story Slam!
Sign up to hear local medical students and healthcare providers share their personal experiences through stories. Storytellers must be part of the local medical community, but all members of the public are encouraged to attend and vote to select the best story!
All are welcome to attend and the metropolitan Philadelphia medical schools are invited to field a team of two storytellers—one health professional at any level or medical student at any level. Each contestant will have 5 minutes to tell a medically-related story and at the end, the audience will select the three best stories.
Most of our storytellers were chosen as standouts from local storytelling events at their medical schools.
Timeline
7-8:00pm – Story Slam
8:00pm – Audience Judging
8:00-9:00pm – Light Reception
